The Xone 96 cue system can be configured to work as either as auto-canceling or latching.

The default setting is Auto-cue. This means the switch remains on until the switch is pressed again or another Cue is selected. 

The alternate mode is Latching-cue. This enables the Cue switch to remain active when selecting another channel Cue. Any active Cue is deactivated by pressing the switch again.

To switch modes, simply press and hold all three HP,BP,LP filter type buttons on both filter 1 & filter 2.

The Two MIDI active buttons will start to flash as shown below.

The 96 is now running in the alternate cue mode.
