The Xone 96 can pass a MIDI clock sourced from software to your favourite external hardware. This is handy if you want to interface and sync your outboard gear to a singular clock source.
The clock must be generated from computer software, and then transmitted via USB into the mixer’s USB interface. The clock is then passed directly to the MIDI din out on the rear of 96. The MIDI active switch must also be on for the corresponding sound card. To stop the clock transmission, simply switch off the MIDI active switch.
