Ensure your device can be seen and is in fail safe mode
- Open Dante Controller.
- Confirm the device appears in a red font.
- Double click on the device and confirm it says Fail safe mode and not any other fault.
- If you can’t see the device in Dante Controller:
- Try viewing the device in the Device Info tab rather than the Routing tab.
- Ensure your computer's IP address is in the same range as the device’s (e.g. 169.254.x.x).
- Connect network directly to the device using the Control Port where available (e.g. on the Dante 64x64 and 128x128 option cards).
Check model and version
Check the type and model of A&H Dante device. This is displayed on the product artwork. Note that the SQ-Dante V1 option card has no extra markings, while the V2 can be easily identified due to the V2 at the bottom left of the faceplate.
