The Xone PX5 can pass on a MIDI clock sourced from software to your favourite external hardware. This is handy if you want to interface and sync your outboard gear to a singular clock source.
The clock on PX5 can either be generated from the mixer’s internal BPM clock or sourced from computer software, which is transmitted via USB into the mixer’s interface. The clock is then passed directly out to the MIDI din out on the rear of the mixer.
To set up the MIDI clock source, press and hold the FX encoder to access the config. Scroll to ‘Clock’ and press then set to ‘ON’ to receive the clock via USB or ‘OFF’ for the clock to be generated internally from the mixer’s BPM source.
