On the Allen &Heath website downloads are available, which are usually in .zip format.

These should only be unpacked once to give you the required file.

If you are using a Mac and the result of unpacking is a file with no file extension, this will be the result of a setting in the Archive Utility app.

Type Archive into the search and choose the Archive utility app (it has a green icon with a zip). Open this app and choose settings from the top menu.

This will open the Archive Utility Settings window below.

The 'Keep expanding if possible' setting is active by default in recent versions of MacOS. Please uncheck this setting, as shown.

Now, if you double click the original download of the file, it will unpack correctly.

You can then use this file, as it will have unpacked as intended.
