Q: How do I use my Microphone with the XONE:DX in Serato Itch?         

A: To use a microphone with the XONE:DX and Serato Itch, plug the Mic in ensuring the Mic Level Control is turned down. Set the Channel 4 Deck Input Select Switch on the rear of the mixer to the Mic position then set Channel 4 on the XONE:DX to Thru (Shift Mode) by holding Shift and pressing the Channel 4 Cue/Thru button.
The Cue/Thru button will now be lit by an orange LED to indicate Thru Mode is enabled.

This will disable Deck 4 within the Itch software. If an audio track is playing this will be greyed out on screen to indicate the audio will not play out to the mix until Thru Mode is disabled.

With Thru Mode enabled, raise the Mic Level Control to achieve the desired level for the mix, the DX mixer Channel 4 Gain Control is also still active so if the level from the mic is too low this can be adjusted from the Channel Gain Control.
