We recommend running your Xone at 44.1kHz and not using any other setting unless the majority of your music collection is at 48kHz.
At the time of writing Serato Itch does not support audio files with sample rates higher than 48kHz.
In the majority of cases, most, if not all, of the digital audio you will have in your collection will have a sample rate of 44.1kHz.
You can confirm this for yourself by Command-Clicking in the horizontal bar that has 'Song', 'Artist', 'Album', 'Length' etc and ticking the 'Sampling' option.
You will now get an added column showing the sample rates of the files in your collection - it is highly likely that the majority will be 44.1kHz.
Itch does not support files sampled higher than 48kHz so, for digital audio playback, there is no genuine reason to choose higher sample rates from the Control Panel options.
You will not gain any increase in audio quality by running at a higher sample rate if the original source files are at a lower sample rate.
Forcing the hardware to run at a higher sample rate will just result in files being played faster (and at a higher pitch) as the sample rate of the file remains at the original rate (i.e. 44.1kHz) while the internal clock will be running faster - for instance, at 88.2kHz the file will be played at 2x speed/pitch (88.2 = 2 X 44.1).
