Notes
ⓘ Firmware updates are included in the Qu-MixPad app, available for iOS, Android, Windows and Mac. To carry out an update from Qu-MixPad, ensure the app is up to date, connect to your Qu and follow the on-screen instructions.
ⓘ Firmware can be installed via USB, firmware files are downloaded as a compressed ZIP folder containing a *.bin file. Ensure you have the correct file for the Qu model you are updating.
Qu-5 / Qu-5D = Qu-5UPG_1_2_1_r4106.bin
Qu-6 / Qu-6D = Qu-6UPG_1_2_1_r4106.bin
Qu-7 / Qu-7D = Qu-7UPG_1_2_1_r4106.bin
ⓘ Format your USB device using the Qu mixer format utility. Not all USB devices will be compatible with the Qu mixer. Use the device only for the Qu mixer once you have formatted it and checked it to work correctly with the mixer.
ⓘ If using Qu-MixPad or Qu4You apps, ensure that the first two numbers of the firmware and app versions match for full functionality.
Qu firmware V1.2.0 and Qu MixPad V1.2.1 - full compatibility.
Qu firmware V1.1.2 and Qu MixPad V1.2.2 - app will run in Legacy mode, with limited compatibility.
ⓘ Scenes and shows created with an earlier version of firmware can be recalled on a Qu running more recent firmware releases but scenes and shows created using the latest firmware cannot be recalled on older firmware.
ⓘ Updating firmware will not clear or delete data, but it is best practice to store a Show before carrying out an update.
