Xone 43/43C. X:FX Send/Return connections using Boss FX pedals
- Connect a ¼” (6.35mm) mono (TS) to RCA cable from the X:FX SND L socket on the mixer, to INPUT A of the Boss DD-7 (or RV-6*).
- Connect a ¼” (6.35mm) mono (TS) to RCA cable from the X:FX SND R socket on the mixer, to INPUT B of the Boss DD-7 (or RV-6*).
- Connect a ¼” (6.35mm) mono (TS) to RCA cable from OUTPUT A of the Boss DD-7 to the X:FX RTN L socket on the mixer.
- Connect a ¼” (6.35mm) mono (TS) to RCA cable from OUTPUT B of the Boss DD-7 to the X:FX RTN R socket on the mixer.
- Set E.LEVEL on the pedal at @3 o’clock, or higher.
- Use the X:FX DRY/WET controls above the channel faders on the mixer to send audio to the FX pedal, and to adjust the DRY (audio track only, no effect output) and WET (audio track, plus effect output) balance.
- Use the E.LEVEL control on the pedal to balance the FX output level with the main mix.
*NOTE: Multiple FX can also be used by daisy-chaining pedals between X:FX SND and X:FX RTN
Use ¼” (6.35mm) mono (TS) cables to inter-connect the pedals as shown;
Connect from X:FX SND on the mixer to the DELAY pedal inputs. Connect the DELAY pedal outputs to the REVERB pedal inputs. Connect from the REVERB outputs to X:FX RTN of the mixer. Typically delay sit before reverb in an effect signal chain, but you can interconnect different types of effect as you choose.
