Known Issues
Failure to connect to expanders on different subnet:
DT expanders on a different IP subnet are listed as Detected Devices but DT Preamp Control will fail to connect.
Failure to connect to expanders on secondary network interface:
DT expanders on a network interface other than the selected interface may be listed as Detected Devices but DT Preamp Control will not connect.
Units take a long time to establish connection:
On larger or busier networks, it can take up to 3 minutes to establish the initial connection. Once connected however, there should be no delay in operation.
Notes
ⓘ DT Preamp Control supports a maximum of 32 DT expanders on the Dante network.
ⓘ The DT168 and DT164-W have two firmware components:
- The Dante firmware reported in Dante Controller and updated via the Audinate Firmware Update Manager.
- The Allen & Heath control firmware, which is updated via the Allen & Heath DT Preamp Control app. DT Preamp Control supersedes the original Allen & Heath DT Firmware Updater.
