Q:
I have Vista Business System. I had IDR System Manager, ver. 3.72 was installed and it worked on my computer.
Unfortunately yesterday morning, some automatic updates for Vista have been installed on my computer and after that, IDR Software stopped working.
When I open the program, I can see on my CPU meter, that the process is ongoing, but the window of the program doesn't open.
I tried to open it few times, then I was closing it by the task manager. After that, I had uninstalled 3.72 ver. and installed 3.73 ver.
The situation is still the same. I realise, that this is a Vista update problem, but I thought, that maybe there are some extra files for Windows Vista.

The problem is that on your computer you have something called DEP enabled. DEP stands for Data Execution Prevention and prevents programs and applications from accessing some parts of the memory that are reserved for Windows only things.
With this enabled (and is usually disabled by default) it prevents System Manager from working.
Please see this website to prevent System Manager from running with DEP.

Please make sure DEP is off for either all Programs or just System Manager.
