I have been running an iDR4 based system for some time now and am very pleased with it.

However, I now need to change the laptop I use to run the System Manager and have a set of archived configurations that I need to transfer to the new computer, but I can't see where the .cfg files are stored in order to do this.

Can you help?

By default, iDR-4 configuration settings are stored in the following directory:

C:\Program Files\Allen & Heath\iDR System Manager V3.73\Configurations\iDR-n*

Unless a different folder has been selected when previously saving, or opening config files, this is the same directory that iDR System Manager will open when

FILE > Open Configuration...

or

FILE > Archive Configuration...

options are selected. In this case, the .cfg file(s) will be stored in the user-defined directory.

If the application does not default to the '...Configurations\iDR-4' folder, you can always redirect the application to search this directory first, via the 'Save in:' menu in the Configuration file browser.
