Tabs
The two rows of tabs located at the top of the System Manager window are used to navigate AHM’s System Manager software.
The top row of tabs selects the primary navigation (e.g., System, Configure, Manage, Channels, and Assign). The second row of tabs are the secondary navigation choices and change depending on the primary tab that is selected (shown by a teal text highlight and underline).
In general, the System tab shows settings and information regarding the system at large, the Configure tab shows configurations of a specific AHM Unit’s hardware, the Manage tab shows features that require specific management (e.g., Presets, Playback, Event Scheduling, and Preset Crossfades), the Channels tab shows Input and Zone processing as well as controls for Control Groups and Input Direct Outs, and the Assign tab shows channel and room assignments along with monitor bus controls.
Main Window
The main window displays the currently selected secondary tab.
Status Bar
The status bar is located at the bottom of the System Manager window(s) and is always visible to show useful information to the operator.
Before opening a Project or connecting to a single online/offline AHM, Not Connected will appear in the status bar. If a connection is made to an online/offline AHM, this will change to display the name(s) of the Unit(s) connecting and the profile logging in.
When inside of a Project, the following are shown in the status bar:
| Focus Unit | For secondary tabs whose settings are Unit-specific, this focus can be shifted to manage any relevant settings to the respective focused Unit |
| Last Preset | The name of the last recalled Preset in the system, if any |
| Monitor Point | The current monitor point, if any, routed to the Monitor Bus, that follows the computer’s pointer. Example: Zn1(Nickname) Post Comp indicates listening to Zone 1 (which is labelled Nickname) after the Compressor |
| ? | Contextual Help button that will show the relevant Help information based on the window or tab currently open |
| New Window | Opens a second window displaying the Channels secondary tabs and can be used independently of the main window |
