What is the maximum input power on the XD53 headphones please?

Some sites are saying 1500mW whilst other 3500mW.

Also the swivel points are similar to my old Sony's 700 which snapped after a year, so have these been reinforced?

The correct spec is 3500mW;

We think the confusion arose when Marketing sent out an early press release with the "1500mW" rating...

We haven't had any breakages on the pivots of the XD:53s reported thus far, and our design is a strong one unrelated to the Sony one.

Our pre-production pair are over 18 months old now and have suffered loads of abuse, like being dragged off the desk onto the floor as the lead gets caught on a chair and the odd "Wallace & Gromit" style walking-away-while-still-wearing-them ...

Note: the XD-53 headphones are now discontinued and replaced by the Xone XD2-53
