Q:
I have recently purchased a Xone 1D, however, when I am using Traktor Scratch Pro it doesn't seem to acknowledge any signal coming from the Xone.
The lights on the bottom row of buttons are lighting up so there is definitely power going to the Xone.
My setup is a MacBook Pro

We have analyser software here to download under the Software tab on the product page.
https://www.allen-heath.com/ahproducts/xone1d/#tab5
Plug in your D series midi controller, run the analyser and perform a series of tests as instructed to establish that all controls are functioning correctly.
Once you have eliminated the midi controller as the source of your problem you can progress to the next possible source of the fault, the set up with the DAW and the mapping settings.
Our analyser software only works on a Windows platform, so if you are using a Mac, probably the easiest thing to do would be to use a PC to carry out this simple 5-minute diagnostic test.
If you have not got access to a PC then download this generic diagnostic freeware - "MIDI Monitor is a utility for Mac OS X which displays MIDI signals in a variety of formats.
It can watch both incoming and outgoing MIDI streams and can filter them by message type and channel.
Musicians will find it handy for tracking down confusing MIDI problems.
Programmers can use it to test MIDI drivers and applications.
MIDI Monitor is FREE to download and use."
