It is possible to synchronise DAW applications and 2 Apple Mac systems via Ethernet using a CAT5 network cable to connect between the Ethernet ports of the Macs and creating a network session.

This allows for the DAWs to synchronise tracks, tempos, clip start/stop processes etc.
