Q:
Can I use a DB4 with my Pioneer CDJ2000s using Rekordbox?
A:
Yes, the XONE:DB4 can be used to playback audio as a standalone player with the Rekordbox software and also by connecting the CDJ2000s, or other compatible CD decks with the laptop via a LAN connection and the CDJs audio outputs to the XONE:DB4 audio inputs.
To use the XONE:DB4 as a standalone playback device:
Rekordbox Preferences > Audio page > Audio device > XONE:DB4 USB ASIO driver > set the soundcard Output channels as required
e.g. Output 1 and 2 will send audio to the XONE:DB4 USB Input Source 1.
To use the XONE:DB4 with CDJs and Rekordbox :
Connect the laptop and CDJs via a LAN connection, this will allow you to load tracks directly into your CDJs, then connect the CDJ2000s audio outputs directly to the DB4 input channels.
This can be done by connecting the CDJs to the XONE:DB4 via a digital connection, the DB4 mixer channel will need to be assigned to DIG then set the input selector to the corresponding input.
It can also be connected via an RCA connection, the DB4 mixer channel will then need to be assigned to ANA then set the input selector to the corresponding input.
