The Core Audio Driver uses the Mac’s internal USB Clock as the synchronisation clock for the system.
This allows you to use Core Audio functions such as Mac sounds output e.g. alerts, sound effects and iTunes etc.
and allows the XONE device to be aggregated with the Mac audio system or with different soundcards.
The Bit Accurate Driver uses the connected hardware (XONE device) as the USB clock source,
which offers lower jitter and latency as well as a more stable USB streaming clock.
Some early 2011 Mac’s do not display the Bit Accurate Driver mode and MIDI is not functional.
This will be fixed in the next release
