GS-R24 and ZED-R16. Thunderbolt to FireWire adaptor

Q:   I have upgraded to a 2013 Mac and the FireWire Port has been replaced by a Thunderbolt Connection?
       Can I buy a convertor?

 

A:  Allen & Heath can confirm that the GS-R24 and ZED-R16 are compatible with 

Apple’s Thunderbolt to FireWire 800 adapter in combination with a FireWire 800 to 400 cable. (FireWire 800/400 9-Pin/6-Pin )

Users can expect performance to at least equal that of using a built in FireWire port.
