Locking IEC cables
Posted by Nicola Beretta, Last modified by Maf Prigg on 12 January 2015 11:32 AM

Third-party locking IEC mains cables can be used for securing the power source to our products.
Those that work with universal inlets are suitable, manufacturers include IEC Lock and Schaffner.

This is particularly useful on stage where devices are prone to frequent movement, for example with a portable AB168 Audio Rack.

Note that most of our products provide a plastic P-clip to secure the mains cable in place.
Always secure the cable to the P-clip unless using a third-party locking IEC cable.

At the moment of writing the retailers below are stocking IEC power leads.
Before ordering, check that the cable has the correct lead for your territory and complies with local regulations and directives.
